After thought- picking up the cargo trailer tomorrow in Oshawa which will haul my beautiful Triumph across the continent and up to Alaska.  I hope it was well made, and that I don't regret opting out of the spare tire option!

Spoke with my insurance broker today about coverage for camper and trailer, as essentially everything valuable that I own will be rolling down the road on 6 tires and subjected to bad drivers bad choices for 12,000km.  Plus robbers and other bad people.  Pack a big knife.

My Scrambler loaded up on Manitoulin Island

  1. Big knives are good, but I hear they like to use those dohickeys:
    derringers, forty-five (or .45), gat [slang], handgun, pistol, revolver, rod [slang], roscoe [slang], sidearm, six-gun, six-shooter, zip gun; self-loader, semiautomatic; blunderbuss, breechloader, culverin, fieldpiece, firelock, flintlock, harquebus (or arquebus), matchlock, musket, rifle, shotgun, smoothbore, twenty-two (or .22); AK-47, assault rifle, assault weapon, automatic, carbine, machine gun, machine pistol, repeater, submachine gun, tommy gun;
    so, have fun with that knife Mark
