Drove from Pierre, SD today to Rapid City, SD. Through the Fort Pierre National Grasslands, where part of Dances with Wolves was filmed. It was true to form. Then through the Badlands National Park which was mindblowingly awesome scenery and way different. Up to Wall, SD to some weird place called Wall Drug - a huge western-town style outlet mall full of all kinds of useless ways to spend money.
We're at the KOA in Rapid City now, pulled the motorcycle out of the trailer and are prepping to ride to Mt Rushmore tomorrow. It's 26 degrees C, and sunny. It's almost 30 in the camper right now! Shorts, no shoes, and no shirt - no problem at a KOA.
Will throw some photos up later when it cools down and I get more energy.
