Day deux

Today we crossed the border into the US. No one seems to understand or believe mike when he says he's a self-employed geologist. Sir, please pull over and follow us inside. Terrible. We got searched and questioned, I had to classify myself as a student - destined for life officially. Maybe it was the aviators or the camper and trailer rig, or mikes terrorist beard. Haha either way we made it in and we drove up the Michigan northern peninsula, UP as the Americans apparently call it! Stopped at wallymart beforehand and bought tones of tings, for so cheap! This country is amazing for that. We found a great waterfall with a nearby campsite. I'm writing beside the fire now at our campsite, afraid I might burn a hole in mikes new iPad. I think that would pretty much end this trip! Haha anyhow Michigan is beautiful so far, we met some scary locals near a town called "Paradise" aujourd'hui and it felt like the beginning of the Texas chain saw massacre.. Far too friendly and far too small town! Eee interesting second day it has been. Goodnight!

One more thing, as I was writing this we heard a pack of wolves howling in the background. A lot of sketchiness for one day....!
